This morning on July 20, 2017 IT Del who included Vice Rector III in Cooperation Mr.Bambang SPA, IT Del lecturer Mr. Roy Tobing, Ricardo Situmeang and Indra Tobing did a visitation to Samosir Regency. In their visit at that time, IT Del would present about Advantages of Information Technology and Communications for the government in Samosir Regency. Previously, IT Del already made a cooperation with Toba Samosir Regency by conducting Information Technology and Communications training for the government officials of villages in Toba Samosir. The government of Toba Samosir Regency thanked the training very much as it positively impacted on the village officials themselves, for they were aware that government officials in several villages have been unfamiliar with computer use. Thus, they have been looking forward to IT Del, situated among some regencies near Lake Toba to give positive impacts on people surrounding, especially in technology.
The event was opened by Bappeda of Samosir Regency’s Secretary Mr. Tommy Naibaho, carried on by Information Technology and Communications presentation to the Samosir government. The event was attended by representatives from all Offices in Samosir Regency. The socialization aimed to inform that the government could use IT in an optimal way for doing their tasks in the office. We’re looking forward to the collaboration to be well-developed and give benefits for both parties, particularly tools and procedures assisting all tasks especially in IT area in the government office.
