The final exam is a regular activity held by Del Institute of Technology (IT Del) to evaluate the level of its students’ learning progress and outcome in the end of semester. So, that is why the activity is called the Final Exam.
As was scheduled in IT Del’s Academic Calendar, on Monday, January 18th, 2016 IT Del initiated to conduct a series of final tests for the Odd Semester of 2015/2016. The Final Exam took place until Friday, January 22nd, 2016. During those days all students had prepared themselves seriously to sit the final tests. The students were given a special one week time, called the silent week to prepare for the Final Exam. In addition, students were still allowed to keep studying to prepare themselves for the courses tested during the final test week.
As usual, all test takers must follow IT Del’s rules. One rule requires the students not late to enter the test room, bring their test card and sit on the numbered chair. The test proctors, consisting of lecturers and staffs will check if every student sits in the numbered chairs. The test proctors are also required to expel the students failing to obey the rules. One of such conditions is to tell the students to leave the class if he or she does not wear a shirt and pump shoes during the test. All forms of rule-breaking must be recorded in Berita Acara and handed to the academics for a further process. The cheating students during the test are considered failed in the course tested. Then, after the Final Exam students will enjoy their two week holiday.
