On May 9th, 2019 in Laguboti, Mandiri bank conducted Mandiri Bank’s What the Hack! seminar and socialization at IT Del Auditorium. This seminar was opened by the Rector of IT Del Prof. Ir. Togar M. Simatupang, M.Tech., Ph.D. In the occasion, the Rector of IT Del addressed IT Del students to come up with innovations and be creative in the era of technology development as well as participate in competitions organized by committees inside and outside the campus. The seminar and socialization were attended by Rico Usthavia Frans, Operation and Technology Director of Mandiri Bank. Mr Frans explained about digital transformation of Mandiri Bank and further elaborated What the Hack! competition. The event held in collaboration with Kalibrr Indonesia will open a registration for 30 days from May 1 to June 2 2019. Once the applications are submitted, Mandiri Bank will select 150 candidates to join the series of events in Jakarta from June 27-30, 2019. As is in line with the hackathon name which is used, Mandiri Bank has its aspiration to invite the game changers to jointly contribute their creative ideas to answer the people’s digital-savvy banking needs.
Mandiri Bank’s pre-event Hackathon at IT Del campus is supported by Career Development and Alumni Relation Center. IT Del students were enthusiastic to join the event and asked many questions about the What the Hack! event held by Mandiri Bank.
