Summer School 2019 was officially closed by Rector of IT Del, represented by Vice Rector I, Dr. Arlinta Christy Barus S.T., M.InfoTech during the closing ceremony held on Friday, July 26, 2019. The overall activity of Summer School 2019 is conducted well and all participants also enjoyed the events and places to visit.
“I am really satisfied but I want to spend more time here, because I like everyone here !!” said Lucas Bujas, one of the 2019 Summer School participants from Czech University of Life Sciences. All of them enjoyed the trip to the nature in Tangkahan, Bukit Lawang dan especially Lake Toba.
Despite the fact that some plans did not work according to expectations, for example some tourist destinations require a long travel time and also poor road conditions, this did not discourage the 2019 Summer School participants. Students also visited all of the places planned in the itinerary even though some places had to be moved to another day due to unforeseen circumstances.
Hopefully this activity can take place again next year and even better organized with the experience gained from the 2019 Summer School.
