That afternoon all students in Faculty of Biotechnology joined the general lecture presented by Setyo Yanus Sasongko, the CEO of Aimtopindo Nuansa Kimia. In that occasion at 01.00 pm, he delivered a general lecture at IT Del Auditorium.
Aimtopindo Nuansa Kimia (AIMTOP) is a Bandung-based private company in West Java specializing in three core businesses, which are Manufacture, Technology Development and Technical Services. Aimtopindo Nuansa Kimia also has branches in Jakarta and Surabaya.
In the lecture, Setyo described the background during crafting his career in chemical industry. He also presented the procedure of industrial wastes’ management all the time applied in his company. Furthermore, he gave a presentation on the process of liquid waste management using physics, chemistry and biological principles.
In the general lecture students are given opportunity to ask him questions. Most students asking relied on their experience when doing on the job training in a company. Such general lecture is really useful for students because it encourages and boosts students’ knowledge of using derivative products of industrial waste processing.
