Held at Open Theater (OT) of IT Del at 05.00 pm, Vinculos concert was opened by Dr. Arnaldo Marulitua Sinaga, ST., M.InfoTech on behalf of the Rector of IT Del that was being under assignment in Jakarta. He thanked the Education and Cultural Minister Prof. Dr. Muhadjir Effendy, MAP for his willingness to come and watch Vinculos music concert in person at IT Del.
Vinculos has performed more than 300 concerts in 12 countries. This was their first visit to Southeast Asia. In their visit at the time, they brought a mission for social, education and culture exchange. This event was sponsored by General Directorate of Education and Culture in cooperation with Government of Toba Samosir, Humbang Hasundutan and Samosir.
In its concert at IT Del on last Saturday, Vinculos played together with Batak Toba’s uning-uningan music group, Mataniari already performing in several countries, too.
The viewers’ enthusiasm upon watching the concert showed how proud they were for being Bataknese. Hopefully, such concert will be able to promote the fascination of Lake Toba in the eye of the world, so Lake Toba Tourism can be more and more worldwide known.
