On Friday and Saturday, September 9-10, 2016 Del Cyber Army of Institut Teknologi Del collaborating with Indonesia Backtrack Team organized a “One Step to Securing Our Information” seminar and workshop at IT Del. Most of the participants were students.

The presenters in the seminar and workshop were Dimas Kusuma (General Chair of Indonesian Backtrack Team) and Boy Suganda Sinaga (Chair of Indonesian Backtrack Team Sub Regional Toba Samosir). The presenters talked about several things like hacking consisting of:
1. How to hack ethically.
2. How to create Ransomware.
3. How to prevent Ransomware.
4. How to collect information from a target.
5. How to know a slot from a target
6. How to exploit from a slot obtaine
7. How to have full access onto server’s file management (upload, download, rename, cut, copy, paste, delete, edit,
new).
8. How to strengthen the power of server.
The topic was given in a lively and relax way despite its serious content. The topic has been popular in the hacking world today so that the event was so fascinating. In addition, there were certificates awarded and soft copy on workshop materials to share with the participants.
