On Friday, May 27th, 2016 Institut Teknologi Del (IT Del) welcomed a visit by CEO of Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) Asmawi Syam who was accompanied by his aides, the Heads of Divisions in BRI and the Head of BRI branch Balige. They were warmly welcomed by the Head of Del Foundation Branch North Sumatera, IT Del lecturers and staffs.
The CEO visited IT Del to grant IT Del fund assistance for education. That day, in order to support education development in Toba Samosir, BRI had a program for education, which was a part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Bangga BERINDONESIA. So, Asmawi Syam expected that the assistance through the program would be able to support the students’ education around Lake Toba.
Upon his visiting IT Del, Asmawi gave his compliments about this campus. “I feel as if I were not being in Indonesia,” he expressed his kudos. He also spent some time to have a short talk with IT Del lecturers, the head of study programs, and IT Del students. On that occasion, Asmawi granted some education aid for IT Del and 25 units of computer worth IDR 200,000,000.
