Institut Teknologi Del once again organized an exhibition for the final projects of the first and second-year students. Final projects are academic work that have Semester Credit Hour. The final project represents a student’s skills and efforts in applying his or her science knowledge taught upon studying in class. All first-year and second-year IT Del students must participate in the exhibition. The exhibition was held on Friday, June 10th 2016 from 08.00 to 17.00 at IT Del’s Entrance Hall which was officially opened by the Rector of IT Del.
The making of the project gave IT Del students an opportunity to share with the community through their real work. For example, students develop websites that share information on potentials around Toba Samosir. The making of these websites usually become the work task of the first year students (Final Projet 1). Meanwhile, the students were assigned to develop applications according to their development in information system and gaming by Second Final Project. Meanwhile, the fourth semester students, through the Final Project 2, must develop applications demonstrating the ability they had developed in information system and gaming.
In this exhibition, every group for the First Final Project and the Second Final Project tried to present its own product neatly with complete information. Also, they made attempts to attract the visitors by decorating their own stand. Then, every visitor seeing their products would get detail explanation on their products. Each group would need feedback from the visitors on the product they developed. The winners of the exhibition were selected based on the final assessment from each visitor.
