On Monday, August 1st, 2016, around 100 village officials from 3 sub districts in Toba Samosir participated in a training for using Information and Communication Technology in Institut Teknologi Del (IT Del). The training for using Information and Communication Technology aimed at village officials in 3 sub districts; 9 villages from Ajibata sub district, 12 villages from Lumban Julu sub district and 5 villages from Laguboti sub district.
The training took place for 2 days with IT Del instructors. In the trainings, the village staff were trained in theory and practice to use information and communication technology through the Internet and the application of Kawal Desaku. It is expected that the village officials will have the ability in Information and Communication Technology to improve their village toward a more advanced Toba Samosir.
