Friday, August 11 was when new students, along with their parents, arrived at IT Del campus. Today was the first day for the kids entering IT Del campus in Laguboti as students. This became momentous for each of them stepping toward the gate of campus life. Program Cinta Almamater (PCA) is a series of events that will be the beginning to shaping the personality of a new student. The PCA activities will take place until August 19, 2017.
The PCA has similar goals every year, highlighting discipline, ethics, responsibilities, family like solidarity, and independent attitudes. The PCA is expected to help students adapt themselves to the environment of learning process in campus more easily. Hundreds of students coming are welcomed by PCA committee members with a smile, and they were asked to participate in PCA activities, from re-registration, checking for data and utilities needed to live at dorms, counting pieces of clothes allowed, ensuring the bucket, shoes, socks, umbrella brought, and health check service. Most parents were seen to accompany those students when they were having their stuffs checked in every service point.
The PCA is going to be opened officially on Saturday, 12 August 2017 by the Rector of IT Del Mr. Prof.Ir. Togar M. Simatupang, M. Tech., Ph.D.
