On Monday, August 7th, 2017 IT Del warmly welcomed Mr. Drs. Lalo H. Simanjuntak as the Education Head of Government Office at Toba Samosir Regency. Held at IT Del’s Rectorate Meeting Room, Rector of IT Del Prof.Ir. Togar M. Simatupang, M. Tech., Ph.D along with Vice Rector 3 in Research, Community Works, Partnerships, Innovation and Enterprises had a discussion with Local Government Office in Education to enhance the quality of education in Toba Samosir, especially in providing programs which was expected to help enable more junior high school students in Tobasa to be accepted at SMA Unggul Del and Yasop.
The collaborations will cover the assistance improving the teaching quality of junior high school students in Bahasa Indonesia, English, Mathematics and Applied Natural Sciences. The reason behind such programs is teachers have an essential role and good strategies to help develop the potential of learners.
Education itself is a main factor in human personality development. Education plays a vital role in shaping human personality to be either good or bad according to normative scale. Having realized the fact, the government becomes so committed to handling education because a good education system is the key for the birth of the nation’s next generation who possess quality and are adaptable to life through socializing, being a part of communal and in states.
Next to the discussion was socialization with teachers and Goverment Office of Toba Samosir in Education to increase the quality of education in Toba Samosir at which Rector of IT Del was invited to disseminate his views.
